I must be too considerate or something
and that must be why I’m always thinking everyone else around me is so inconsiderate. I guess I’ll just live with it because I don’t want to stop being considerate. People these days just don’t care.

Today I watched as a baseball-sized metastatic tumor was removed from the occipital lobe of a patients brain. It had eaten through a portion of the skull and the back of the head looked as though there literally was a baseball underneath the skin. Experiences like this make me realize how blessed I am.
At the end of the day, there are some things you just can’t help but talk about. Some things we just don’t want to hear, and some things we say because we can’t be silent any longer. Some things are more than what you say, they’re what you do. Some things you say ‘cause there’s no other choice. Some things you keep to yourself. And not too often, but every now and then, some things simply speak for themselves.
